Tony Moly Clean Dew Foam Cleanser Red Grapefruit Review
I buy Tony Moly products, first, because of their cute packaging and second because, most of their skincare products perform satisfactorily. Among all the products that I have tried, I love their mini fruit lip balms the most. I find gel cleansers most efficient at cleansing dirt and makeup and foam cleansers are efficient at gentle cleansing of face, especially for cleansing on makeup free days. The cleanser in this post is gentle on skin and works well but is not worth repurchasing.
Give your skin a fresh cleanse with our Clean Dew Foam Cleanser for clean, healthy skin that glows like morning dew! Featuring key ingredients that target different skin concerns, our foam cleansers provide a rich lather and a gentle cleanse, making this perfect to use every day!
My Experience with Tony Moly Clean Dew Foam Cleanser Red Grapefruit:
The product comes in a 180 ml tube packaging – it can stand upright in my bathroom skin cabinet. The tube has a flip cap to dispense product when the tube is squeezed. The product is dispensed in foam form which lathers up when mixed with water.
Most Korean products don’t have description or product details on the tube or on the website but the ones from Tony Moly do offer some complete description and ingredient list on their American website and on websites such as Peach and Lily (the website from where I shop all my Korean products). The ingredient list is also available in detail. This product claims to contain antioxidants that promotes skin elasticity and retains youthful glow. Apart from that, it also contains Chamaecyparis Obtusa Water which is also a rich source of antioxidants.
I use this face wash as a second step cleanser and use it after oil cleansing. I have same experience with all foam cleansers. I do like this cleanser but I do not recommend it to those who use face wash to remove their makeup instead of using a good makeup remover. It cleans a makeup free face well but does not remove makeup well or leave face squeaky clean as I desire from a face wash. I have experience same issue with all foam type face cleanser – they do not give a clean feeling to face after cleansing.
This product has faint citrus fragrance, it lathers well, a small amount is sufficient for face and neck, it does not dry out skin and washes off easily. However, it does not remove face makeup and can only be used on a makeup free face and also does not give a fresh, clean feeling to face. I didn’t find anything proprietary about this product and will not repurchase it.
Pros of Tony Moly Clean Dew Foam Cleanser Red Grapefruit:
Affordable face wash, which comes in a decent 180 ml size tube.
Did not cause acne or any other skin ailment.
Does not make skin dry or uncomfortably stretchy.
Packaging is easy to store (can be kept upright in the cabinet) and is travel-friendly, leak-proof.
Product has subtle citrus fragrance.
Contains grapefruit and tea tree extract.
Removes dirt and cleans pores (for a makeup free face or an oil cleansed face).
A small quantity of this product is enough to create generous amount of lather and clean face and neck.
Cons of Tony Moly Clean Dew Foam Cleanser Red Grapefruit:
The ingredient list is not too fascinating and has more chemicals than essential ingredients.
Not good for removing makeup and can be used only after a cleansing oil to remove makeup.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Do I Recommend Tony Moly Clean Dew Foam Cleanser Red Grapefruit?
It is an affordable face wash which performs well, but not that special and I will not repurchase it. People who like to try Tony Moly products can give it a try.
