My Experience with Garnier Ultra Blends Clay and Citrus Purifying Shampoo:
The product comes in sleek lemon green opaque bottle with a matching colored cap. The design is very similar to the others in the range. There is no seal and you can read the information of the product on the back of the bottle. Since it is an opaque bottle, you cannot see the quantity of the product in the bottle. The cap closes with a click and is pretty tight. It can be a little of the hassle with wet hands.
The shampoo has a runny texture and is creamy in consistency. It is light green in color and smells very fresh. The fragrance is very citrus like and smells amazing. The smell however stays for a short-lived and fades away quite quickly.
The shampoo lathers very well and this is due to the presence of SLS. The lemony fragrance is great but I am a bit confused to use this as lemon is a bleaching agent and I am a bit skeptical that it would lighten my hair. The product doesn’t contain silicones and paraben. Garnier tried to make the product as natural as possible, but what I feel is with addition of sulfates, they kind of take that natural feeling from the shampoo. The product makes the hair soft and smooth and I could easily feel that fullness and suppleness in my hair. The addition of clay makes the hair very clean and you can feel that freshness, but unfortunately, this also rips out the natural oils from the hair and I feel that my hair is very dry. I have oily scalp and this is good but it make my dry ends very dry.
The product doesn’t add any shine to the hair and keeps the hair oil free. This could be a perfect choice for people who have oily hair but otherwise this could be a product you could give a skip. The hair also doesn’t feel moisturized enough and you need to follow up with a conditioner to make sure it adds the moisture to the dry hair. I wouldn’t recommend using it every day. It is a good product but I wouldn’t repurchase it again as it is very drying for me. So summing up.

Cons of Garnier Ultra Blends Clay and Citrus Purifying Shampoo:
